*“Exploring the ancient parish of Sant Esteve de Caulès: following in the footsteps of medieval farmers” route. A walk to discover the surroundings and history of the small medieval settlement of Sant Esteve de Caulès. Departure at 8:30 am from the Santa Ceclina car park (https://maps.app.goo.gl/as42WJdAn9a9Mb7s6). Led by Pau Turon i Izquierdo, a doctoral candidate at the University of Barcelona (UB) who has published various articles and books on the history of the province of Girona, particularly regarding the ancient and medieval periods. He has worked as an archaeologist, though he currently works in public-facing roles at various cultural centers in Girona and as a secondary school teacher. Mid-walk snack. Farewell vermouth.
