Festival d'Aquí
Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September
*D’AQUÍ FESTIVAL. Culture, gastronomy and local shopping. This September, Juli Garreta Gardens, at the sea promenade, will be full of shops and local restaurant services enlivened by different activities and workshops for all ages, music, dance and local culture performances. A festival to enjoy the shops, gastronomy and culture of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
Artistic corners all day:
-Artistic books: artistic installation and books available for anybody who wishes to take them. In charge of the Octavi Viader i Margarit Public Library.
-Share your best memory of the festival at our photocall.
Sunday 20th September – D’AQUÍ FESTIVAL at Juli Garreta Gardens.
Opening hours: from 11 pm. to 11.45 pm.
-Oriental dance class. From 11am to 12pm on the Main Stage. Oriental dance class open to all levels. Participants will discover the three most essential movements of this dance through the Saïdi rhythm, the most recognized worldwide. Free. Hosted by Espai Ananda.
-Creative children's workshop "Dreamcatcher". From 11am to 1pm on the “Espai Tallers”. Workshop aimed at children aged 5 and over. Participants will create a personalized dreamcatcher or door hanger, which they can take home as a unique souvenir. Price: €4. Hosted by the Vilartagues, Tueda de Dalt and Poble Nou Neighborhood Association.
-Empordà wine tasting. From 12 to 1.30 p.m. at the Espai Jam. Discover the flavors and aromas of the DO Empordà in a guided tasting of five wines. An experience to get to know wines from the territory and discover their particularities. Price: €15. Limited places. Registration: clients@calangel.com or 645 729 395. Hosted by Ca l’Àngel.
-Concert with Hound Dogs. From 1.30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the Main Stage. Hound Dogs, formed by seven musicians from different generations, pays tribute to the great rock classics of the 50s and 60s. Free.
-Classical Dance Performance. In charge of Dansamalia. From 4 to 4.30pm on the Main Stage.
-Creative workshop “The secret formula of Sant Feliu”. From 4 to 6 pm at “Espai Tallers”. Children's workshop to create your own souvenir jar by combining materials that represent the “ingredients” of Sant Feliu: the sand of the beach, the colors of the sea, the light of the lighthouse and small treasures of the coast. Free. Hosted by the Golfo’s carnival group
-Gluten-free cake tasting. From 4.30 pm to 6 pm at “Espai Jam”. Enjoy a gluten-free cake tasting and discover new textures, flavors and combinations. A sweet proposal for all palates. Price: €15. Registration: in person at Cafeteria l’Arc (c/Hospital, 2). Hosted by Cafeteria l’Arc
-Creative workshop on boats and nautical knots. From 6 to 8 pm at “Espai Tallers”. Creative workshop for children to build their own wooden boat. In addition, young and old will be able to discover and practice different sailor knots in an activity for all audiences. Free Provided by the Llop de Mar Association.
-Concert with Júlia Mallol. From 6.15 p.m. to 7 p.m. on the Main Stage. Emerging singer Júlia Mallol presents a concert with acoustic versions and songs of her own style of Pop, accompanied by her musicians. Free.
-Hip-hop and urban dance performance. From 7:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the Main Stage. The Mistreet Dance Studio School takes to the stage with an exhibition full of energy and rhythm. Powerful urban dance choreographies that combine young talent, collective strength and passion for movement. Free. By Mistreet Dance Studio.
-Concert with Rebobina2. From 8.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the Main Stage. Songs that have marked several generations performed by Rebobina2, a band that plays the great classics of international rock and pop from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Free.
-DJ Sergi B. From 10.15 p.m. to 11.45 p.m. on the Main Stage. A session with the best commercial hits, dance and house, combined with great classics and the most current songs to bid farewell to the Festival with the best music and a great atmosphere. Free.
