Festival d'Aquí
Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September
*D’AQUÍ FESTIVAL. Culture, gastronomy and local shopping. This September, Juli Garreta Gardens, at the sea promenade, will be full of shops and local restaurant services enlivened by different activities and workshops for all ages, music, dance and local culture performances. A festival to enjoy the shops, gastronomy and culture of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.
Artistic corners all day:
-Artistic books: artistic installation and books available for anybody who wishes to take them. In charge of the Octavi Viader i Margarit Public Library.
-Share your best memory of the festival at our photocall.
Friday 18th September – D’AQUÍ FESTIVAL at Juli Garreta Gardens.
Opening hours: 6 pm. to 1 am.
-Creative children's stamping workshop. From 6 to 8 p.m. in the “Espai Tallers” (workshop place). Aimed mainly at children aged 3 and over. Through stamping, children will discover the Sardana dance from an artistic perspective. Free. Hosted by COCU Associació Cultural.
-Cooking demonstration using bread: recipes with bread. From 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the “Espai Jam”. Discover how to get the most out of the bread you have at home and turn it into original and easy-to-prepare recipes. In this workshop you will learn different ideas for using up the bread from the day before, reducing food waste and incorporating more sustainable cooking habits. Free. Hosted by La Manduca (organic consumption cooperative).
-Guíxols Fashion Show. From 9 to 9:45 p.m. on the Main Stage. Fashion catwalk with the participation of several shops in the city that will present their seasonal proposals and trends. Free. Hosted by the Sant Feliu de Guíxols Merchants Association.
-Concert with Guíxols Vall d’Aro Jazz Quartet. From 10.15pm to 11.45pm on the Main Stage. A repertoire of standards, bossa nova and own arrangements in jazz keys, by the teachers of the EMMú Vall d’Aro. Free.
-DJ D-San. From 12pm to 1am on the Main Stage. Lover of tech house and electronic remixes of the best-known pop hits. D-San DJ creates sessions full of energy with a single objective: to keep the dance floor moving and make you not stop dancing or singing. Free.
